'Commoners' 10 Royals 0

So in the Royal Wedding style stakes the horsey set have finished well back in the field. Romping ahead were the Middleton ladies, bride, mum and sister all looking stunning. Nice after all the snobbery and sniping from the likes of the Daily Mail. Among the guests, the Beckhams were the stars: him looking terrific in a Ralph Lauren morning suit, wing colllar, great hair (for once) and even using his OBE as an accessory to lift a sober but sleek oufit. Vics looked understatedly chic too - very difficult when you're up the duff.
As for the royals, dear god, Beatrice and Eugenie looked like refugee drag queens from Priscilla.
None of them seem to get the idea that LESS is more. And why would anyone put an 85-year-old woman (The Queen) in all-over canary yellow? I know she has to be seen but yikes. Honourable mention to Harry, though. Who doesn't love a man in a hot uniform?

Unhappy Mondays

To beat the worst day of the year, read this: http://www.telegraph.co.uk/health/wellbeing/8260284/How-to-get-through-Blue-Monday.html

Not such a Blue Monday at Attitude Towers, where we received a box of Hummingbird Bakery cupcakes from Mark Heyes, Lorraine fashionista, thanking us for the cover piece we did on him.
Aw bless. And Lorraine Kelly showed the mag on telly last week. Thanks Loz!
Mark now joins the ranks of all-round good eggs Alan Bennett and Jilly Cooper for knowing how to show appreciation the old-fashioned way.
